Improvement (Payments): The payments functionality has been significantly enhanced in this release. You can now make partial allocations to any row within your bill, allowing precise distribution down to the smallest unit of currency, such as €0.01. Watch as Alex walks through this improvement in more detail in this short clip Improvement (Billing): Percentage-based charges and discounts applied to specific bill rows (rather than the entire bill) are now displayed more clearly within each row. Previously, these adjustments appeared as separate rows, making bills harder to read. With this update, each bill row now shows both its original value and any associated discounts or charges, improving readability and clarity. New Feature (Write-Offs): You can now write off entire bills or specific portions of a bill. It is important to note that when writing off a part of a bill, the write off is apportioned will be distributed across all selected bill rows in proportion to their value relative to the total of the selected items. Additionally, Hidma offers the option to update actual charge-out rates whenever a write-off is created. To enable this option, navigate to Settings → Configuration → Payment Settings and turn it on. For a detailed walkthrough, check out this instructional clip. New Feature (Credit Notes): This release introduces the ability to issue Credit Notes and apply Credit on Account for clients. Similar to Write-Offs, you can also choose to update actual charge-out rates based on credit notes. To enable this feature, go to Settings → Configuration → Payment Settings and turn it on. Have a look at this instructional clip for a deeper overview of this new feature. New Feature (Clients): You can now download a client list directly from the Client Summary page. Customize your export by selecting the details to include and applying filters available on the summary page to tailor the list to your needs. Improvement (Bills): The bill status 'Invoiced' has now been changed to 'Outstanding' to better reflect the payment status of bills. Fix: Adding options to multi-select custom fields now functions correctly.
