Release 1.21.0
Feature (Billing): We’re introducing a new feature that allows you to close off unbilled time against bills that are either fully or partially settled. This enhancement is particularly useful for projects that require upfront billing (before work begins) or where partial invoices are issued throughout the project's lifecycle. By closing time entries against these bills, you can ensure that your team’s charge-out rates are accurately adjusted, reflecting the actual work covered under the bill. Closed-off time entries will be clearly marked in your reports for easy tracking. For a step-by-step guide on how to use this feature, check out our detailed instructional video. Feature (Timesheets): Printing a timesheet is now easier than ever. Simply click the print button while viewing the timesheet, and you'll be prompted to select the details you'd like to include. A new tab will then open with a print-friendly version, ready for you to print. Improvement (Billing): Bill templates can now be selected / changed at the point of billing. This will be very helpful if you need to make use of different templates for different clients or different kinds of bills. For more information on configuring Bill Templates please have a look at this instructional video. Improvement (Billing): You can now manually change the billing period of a bill. When editing, simply click on the date range in the bill preview and select your preferred start and end dates. Improvement (Billing): You can now specify a date when creating charges or discounts, this is especially important if they are in a different currency. Improvement (Reporting): If you have enabled default charge out rates, you will now start seeing the proposed charge amount in your reports. This amount will also take into consideration any specific rates which were configured in the system. Improvement (Timesheets): Timesheet statistics in the View All tab or Manage Timesheets tab now show a split of business hours into Billable and not Billable. Fix (Clients): The job lists in Project Cards on the Client Dashboard now gets truncated to avoid unnecessarily long lists.
